Meet Jodi Balderrama, FNP

Jodi Balderrama is a Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Mountain Convenient Care in Franklin, North Carolina. A native of Western North Carolina, she has practiced in WNC for the last five years — and brings more than 15 years of diverse nursing experience to every visit. She built this independent practice for a reason patients feel the moment they sit down: healthcare should start with listening. Not with a clock. Not with a rushed checklist. With a real conversation about what is happening in your body and your life.

Jodi specializes in primary care, preventive care, weight loss, hormone therapy, and aesthetics. She is trained to manage everyday illness, wellness visits, and chronic conditions — and she is equally comfortable digging into root-cause questions when symptoms do not fit a neat box. Fatigue, hormonal shifts, gut concerns, and complex health stories are met with curiosity and structure rather than dismissal. Her education includes graduate nursing preparation through Walden University, building on her foundation as an RN with BSN and MSN credentials, and she practices as an FNP committed to evidence-informed, whole-person care.

Language access matters in Macon County. Jodi is bilingual in English and Spanish, and she is intentional about making patients feel understood — clinically and culturally.
